Our roots in the infusion industry run deep, as Texas Infusion was started by a pharmacist with over 15 years of experience in the field. This expertise and extensive knowledge of infusion therapy allow us to bring a level of experience and precision that sets us apart. Beyond that, we have built a team of highly qualified healthcare professionals who share a passion for excellence in infusion care.

Our in-house nursing team is the backbone of our services, with over 20 years of experience in performing infusions. Led by our experienced nurse, who has a wealth of experience teaching patients and caregivers across all age groups—from pediatrics to geriatrics—we are well-equipped to address the unique needs of each patient. Our nurse’s expertise ensures that you receive the highest level of care, not only in administering infusions but also in providing education and support to patients and their caregivers. Immunoglobulin

Intravenous or Subcutaneous Immunoglobulin (IVIG or SCIG) is used to treat immunity and neurologic disorders.

Intravenous treatment of MS, MG, and other neurologic disorders.

Intravenous treatment of Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency.

What is Infusion Therapy?

Infusion therapy is a medical treatment in which medications are delivered directly into the bloodstream through a vein. This is typically done with the use of a needle or catheter, and is used to treat a variety of chronic diseases for allergy/asthma/ immunology, rheumatological disorders, and neurological disorders.

Where can I get my Infusion treatment?

Infusion treatments can be administered at our ambulatory infusion suite or at the convenience of your home or other preferred location to give treatment. The availability of these options will vary depending on the location and the type of treatment being administered.

How long will each infusion take?

The length of the infusion will also depend on the flow rate of the solution and the size of the vein being used. Additionally, some treatments may require additional time for monitoring or recovery after the infusion. It's best to check with the pharmacist for an estimate of the length of the infusion.

How much should I expect to pay?

The cost of infusion services can vary widely depending on a number of factors, including the type of treatment being administered, the location, and the insurance coverage. Texas Infusion will outline the cost-sharing details of your plan, including your copayment amount, and applicable discounts prior to starting infusion services.

    I have CIDP and have been taking IVIG infusions every 2 weeks for about seven years. My whole life was being planned around these infusion dates. There was little flexibly for plans such as travel, vacation etc. I came across information on Hizentra, an SCIG treatment that Medicare would cover. My doctor and I tried to get this setup for over a year and a half. We just couldn't get through the red tape. The doctor suggested I contact Texas Infusions and so I did. They got me through the red tape in 2 WEEKS and taught me how self infuse. My Medicare Advantage plan covers the full cost. What a valuable service you made available to me and hopefully many other people in similar situations. Now, I do my infusions at home and can travel as I please. I am so grateful for the freedom Texas Infusion has afforded me with their services. Thank you, Thank you. I highly recommend.
